The Christmas Story is part of the Greatest Love Story Ever Told. It’s about how God has always loved you, even before you were born. Actually you were born because in his love, he planned for you and wanted you. He has only good thoughts towards you.
It’s about how humanity in our selfishness and evil desires walked away from God’s love and how he never stopped loving us.
He loved us so much that he came to be born as one of us; to show us who God is, to show us what love is, and to take the punishment of our evil so that we can be forgiven and have eternal life.
